IT Application and Support Engineer

What you’ll be doing!

As an IT Application and Support Engineer you play an integral role in enhancing the AROA team’s IT user experience. You are an IT support specialist with broad IT experience and a proven history of improving user experiences and productivity outcomes.

You will be engaged with end users to assist them with queries in our Salesforce platform, mobile apps, EDI tasks etc. and to ensure ongoing user training is provided. You will take ownership of and contribute to several activities across the organization, including IT user support, vendor relationship management and assisting in the rollout of new IT initiatives and programs.

Your Key Responsibilities / Your Impact

• Develop and deliver training programs for new and existing users on how to use IT products and services effectively,
• Assist the Director of IT with the implementation of the AROA IT roadmap:
• Assist business unit managers with identifying their teams’ IT needs and assisting with solutions,
• Champion effective and productive use of the IT systems with the wider organisation to enhance employee productivity, communication, collaboration and security of information across the business,
• Pioneering continuous review processes and make improvement suggestions and recommendations.
• Maintaining high service levels and productive working relationships,
• Ensure timely and effective end-user support:

Your Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Experience an IT support team member is essential with a history of improving user IT experiences and productivity outcomes.
• A tertiary qualification in an IT related discipline or equivalent industry experience.
• A strong understanding of Microsoft business and cloud applications and solutions, ERP systems or similar enterprise cloud solutions.

We are looking for someone who has strong communication skills, including the ability to understand and work with business teams and operational processes. You’ll be flexible, self-motivated and results focused.

Compensation

Expected Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per annum.
