Senior It Support Technician

TMZ is seeking a Senior IT Support Technician to join the IT team that focuses on the user side of hardware and software support. The role will provide technical support of users in TV production and Website production, ensuring continued operation. The ideal candidate is task focused, detail oriented, customer service focused and able to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment. This position is based on-site and reports to the Executive Director of IT.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Train users on various systems used in the environment
• Provide technical hardware and software support for users
• Deploy and maintain workstations for all employees
• Perform daily system checks of key systems
• Respond to support requests made via phone, email, messaging, or in person
• Onboarding new users, providing them access to needed systems
• Other duties as assigned
• Maintain inventory of assets
• Provide onsite, phone and remote support to users

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Should be proficient managing parts stock
• Must be familiar with working in a multi-tiered application environment (desktop/web apps communicating with backend database) (Experience with software Dalet, Mediaproxy Logplayer, Signiant Reach is a plus)
• Must be proficient with operating system imaging and deployment (Knowledge of JAMF for Macs and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager for PCs is a plus)
• Must be familiar with supporting systems in a corporate enterprise with Active Directory and OKTA.
• Should be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule to include nights and weekends
• Must be able to react quickly and efficiently while under pressure
• Must be familiar with iPhone and Android devices
• 5+ years industry experience (Experience in a TV production environment is required)
• Must have good communication skills
• Must have a good understanding of networking and network troubleshooting to include wireless routers/access points, patching, RJ45 cabling and ISP provided services
• Must have a background with both Mac, PC, and various hardware models hosting those operating systems
• Must be familiar with working in an asset inventory system
• Should be familiar with video conferencing software
• Must be familiar with Network printers

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $83,200 - $93,600 annually.
