There are 2 actors on a network, people and machines. Just as usernames and passwords are used by people to access machines, machine identities are used by machines to identify and access each other. How You’ll Be Protecting The World

• Develop an overview of the state of our customer base, and how that relates to the future problems that we solve.
• Support annual planning for investment allocation of the R&D organization of a leading cybersecurity firm.
• Analyze product telemetry and customer datapoints to understand new customer problems that we can address with existing data.
• Use hypothesis-driven, structured problem solving to identify and prioritize actions to make these goals a reality.
• Identify gaps in current telemetry and data infrastructure and how they can be improved to address customer problems.

The Ideal Venafi Warrior Will Be Armed With

• Understand how to use analytical analysis and methods to see insights in data others do not
• Proficiency with SQL
• The ability to mobilize others to embrace change, in support of data-driven insights amidst a sea of competing priorities.
• The desire & ability to understand the person, problem, pain that we serve, and the products we offer to solve them.
• Strategic thinking skills. Exceptional structured problem-solving and communication skills.
• Facility in designing, structure and implement experiments to test & inform hypotheses to expediently reach actionable conclusions with imperfect information
• Intellectually curious about what motivates people, and skilled in understanding observed behavior

What sets you apart?

• High-IQ, low ego; genuine; simultaneously an owner and a team player
• Knowledge of either Python or R will be a plus
• Prior experience with enterprise software product strategy and/or product management will be a plus
• Prior experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and/or cryptography will be a plus
• Self-starter, intellectually curious, driven
• Progress towards or a recent graduate of a Master or Bachelor’s degree program in either business, economics, or relevant STEM field.
