Job Overview:

Macy’s Media Network is seeking a Lead, Client Analytics Strategy dedicated to assigned Macy’s key accounts to present end of campaign reports in addition to QBRs, including deep dive analyses across media channels and tactics, plus ad-hocs. Story telling is a must, clearly communicating what worked, areas of opportunity, and recommendations.


Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for end of campaign ROAS reports - it be important to QA for accuracy; a critical component of these reports are the learnings, insights, and strategic recommendations.
  • As needed, there will also be QBRs and Year in Reviews, as well as Ad-hoc reports.
  • On a weekly basis, responsible in reporting on and presenting (as needed), performance / engagement reports across multiple channels, including Onsite Display, Offsite Display/Video, Social, and Sponsored Products.
  • Take the lead in running weekly/bi-weekly/monthly meetings with clients to discuss campaign performance insights and potential strategies/optimizations.
  • Discussions with the Operations team to ensure alignment on insights and recommendations and relay trends observed across accounts / categories.


Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Ability to translate data points into easily digestible presentations, insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs.
  • Ability to prioritize a high volume of projects and tasks.
  • Strong “story telling” desire behind advertising results and audience behavior.
  • At least 4 years of experience in retail media analytics, understanding the intricacies of Onsite Display, Offsite Display, Offsite Video, Social, Sponsored products and closed loop reporting, measurement and analytics.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint experience.
  • Experience in the following tools: Google Ads Manager, Facebook, MediaMath, Google DCM, Google Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tableau.
  • Ability to think creatively, strategically and technically.
  • Experience with different analytics tools and ad serving platforms to measure campaign performance.
  • Highly accurate and will QA all data.
  • BS/MS preferably in statistics, mathematics, economics, or business/marketing related fields.
