AI Sports Startup seeks Tableau-experienced Data and Analytics Intern (remote)

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, clean, and preprocess data from various sources.

Design and develop interactive Tableau dashboards and reports to visualize complex user data and trends.

Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, and key insights that can inform strategic decisions.

Work closely with our leadership team to integrate Tableau visualizations into our AI-powered solutions.

Present findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and engaging manner.

Assist in the collection and analysis of data using various data analytics tools and techniques.

Analyze data and participate in planning meetings to help improve decision making across our product(s)

Identity important metrics and interesting trends to investigate

Create visualizations that monitor business performance and help display your findings

Help build and maintain team data-based dashboards

Set future KPI goals by analyzing historical trends

Work with our product team to suggest new A/B tests, UX/UI improvements, and other app improvements

Understanding of analytics, research, statistics, data modeling, and/or data management

Exposure to and/or experience in the financial services industry

Strong analytical skills including strategically analyzing/manipulating data, diagnosing opportunities, and providing interventions

Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Demonstrated knowledge, interest and/or familiarity with: Data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI, programming languages such as SQL, Python, Java

Assist in the development and publication of management reporting for data analytics

Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau and basic coding skills preferred

Deep understanding of modern machine learning techniques and their mathematical underpinnings, and can translate this into business implications for our clients

Experience with databasing and/or data analysis in Python and/or SQL languages

Experience with Git or other source control software

Basic knowledge of electrochemistry and/or batteries

Demonstrated programming experience with Python and familiar with the scientific Python stack (scipy, pandas, scikit-learn, etc.)

Data visualization experience (e.g., Tableau, Grafana, Matplotlib, JavaScript, Python, JMP)

Prior experience in battery/cell technology is preferred

Must be a senior in college enrolled in a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field

Experience in .com or marketplace commercial efforts (D2C, Amazon, Walmart.com, etc.) is a plus

Involvement in innovating on how we visualize insights that help to drive action from prospect accounts

Assisting in key data migrations for new system implementations and department initiatives

Supporting the implementation of departmental process improvement and automation initiatives within the RevOps team

Experience troubleshooting Mac, PC and mobile device issues

Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Python with a demonstrated experience in data analysis, visualization, and computing libraries (i.e., Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, NumPy).

Strong proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite for data analysis and presentation; basic statistics knowledge is highly desired.

Perform data analysis to support complaint investigation and RnD activities.

Track NeuMoDx system usage in the RnD lab to establish RnD KPIs.

Use NeuMoDx Software to reprocess raw data to assess potential impact of cutoff threshold modification.
