The hiring rate for this position is $ $143,000.00 - $202,300.00 per year.


Summary: Corporate Strategy Director


The Corporate Strategy Director is responsible for planning, delivering, and implementing high-priority strategic projects and initiatives focused on driving growth, performance, and operational efficiency throughout OIA Global. Work on projects of strategic importance, such as growth strategy, business model transformation, acquisitions, efficiency initiatives, operational excellence, and board communication. Collaborate closely with the CFO, CEO and executive leadership team, and senior leaders across the organization to shape strategy and drive execution.

Supervisory Responsibilities:


  • Manage a team of 2 corporate strategy professionals. Ensure work is completed on time and to expectations. Provide coaching, training, and performance reviews.


Duties and Responsibilities


  • Draft recommendations using a combination of Excel, PowerPoint and the PR/FAQ format based on input from sales, operations, product, marketing, finance, analytics, and technology leadership teams.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives, leading by influence and without direct authority.
  • Build cohesive strategic plans to accomplish business objectives, identify specific areas of opportunity through quantitative and qualitative analysis, and formulate goals and milestones that will enable us to achieve those objectives.
  • Support the executive team designing our Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
  • Lead inorganic growth efforts by partnering with finance, legal, LDI Corp Dev, and OIA Global executives.
  • As a part of the Corporate Strategy team, you'll focus on driving growth, performance, and operational efficiency throughout OIA Global.
  • Actively provide an “outside-in” perspective and recommend strategic priorities based on competitive and customer intelligence.

  • Generate business insights, develop strategies and business cases that inform company strategy and unlock potential value.
  • Drive the definition, measurement, and tracking of key strategic initiatives critical to company growth and operational efficiency.
  • Coach and mentor analysts, associates, and managers on the corporate strategy team.
  • Be a thought partner to senior leaders, helping to devise corporate and functional strategies.


Education and Experience:

  • Experience with executive-level engagement as a business, operational, and strategic thought partner.
  • Minimum of 2 years of engagement manager experience, directly managing high-impact teams in professional services or corporate strategy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving & analytical skills and the ability to synthesize insights to drive alignment and outcomes.
  • Experience in logistics or transportation industry is preferred.
  • 7+ years of work experience with growing levels of responsibility.
  • Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and thrive in an unstructured environment, leading teams without a direct reporting structure.
  • 2+ years of experience in top-tier strategy consulting, investment banking, private equity, or corporate strategy with a focus on Supply Chain/Transport and Logistics (strongly preferred).
  • Undergraduate degree from a top-tier business school or MBA from a top-tier business school.

Physical Requirements:

  • Infrequent travel – 10% to 15%.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
