We are looking for a kindred spirit to join us in a marketing capacity for our product/service launch at PrognosUs this summer and possibly beyond.

While we sometimes identify as a “health tech” startup, PrognosUs is a radically different project than most in that $ector. We are a public benefit company whose central interest is eliminating racialized health disparities in dementia. We are careful to avoid using technology in ways that perpetuate privileged access to information and resources but do use it as a tool to scale impact.
We leverage principles of mutual aid and community health through a mobile app and text-enabled platform. We offer caregivers and patients with early diagnoses the opportunity to hear from and connect with their peers through shared culture and language in a place-based way.
We seek, first and foremost, an individual or firm that is expert in marketing and values aligned (autonomy, community, accountability, justice). Importantly also is that they have specific experience creating and executing community-centered marketing campaigns using digital and legacy (including ethnic) media. Skills likely include writing, editing, design, project management, and literacy with cloud-based software like Asana and Canva. Strong references are required.
Compensation is negotiable and can be a contracted fee for a limited engagement with possible renewal. Equity is also possible for the right candidate. Finally, we are blessed to have our legal needs supported pro bono by Ropes and Gray, and we are also open to pro bono partners in marketing.
