Our Newest Opportunity:
The HR Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day administration of Human Resources & Benefits programs and policies for OneDigital’s employees across the country.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
  • New employee onboarding – Maintain and distribute new hire welcome kits and conduct new hire orientations, culture & history presentations and other sessions as required.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
  • Prepare and update employment records in relation to hiring and terminating employees. Manage the voluntary terminations/resignations off-boarding process.
  • Acts as the bridge between Talent Acquisition and Human Resources; Duties include creating job profiles and positions in Workday, facilitating background checks and job assessments, preparing and extending formal offer letters, completion of Workday new hire onboarding process.
  • Assist with employee outreach and response to HR email inbox, calls and direct emails, responding to employees and assisting them with issues, problems or questions; escalating to the appropriate department or functional leader when necessary.
  • Help prepare reports and applications required by law to be filed with federal and state agencies, such as Internal Revenue Service, Department of Labor, insurance commissioners and other regulatory agencies;
  • Assist with the M&A Due Diligence and onboarding process for new agency acquisitions. To include; Workday set up, welcome/onboarding outreach and conducting informational webinars as needed.
  • Responsible for responding to all state DOL correspondence and requests for information with regard to surveys, unemployment claims and reporting; Responsible for setting up all state SUI and DOL accounts when needed;
  • Assists Managers and Payroll team with time and absence reporting, questions and timesheet corrections.
  • Ensure all applicable new hire paperwork is received, completed and filed;
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment and necessary posters for each office;
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.
  • Service leadership approach;
  • Ability to relate to people of all levels and personalities;
  • Must be self-motivated, resourceful and disciplined;
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
Education, Training and Experience:
  • Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of HR administration;
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience as an HR Coordinator, or 2+ years of experience in the field;
  • Bachelor's degree, preferred;
  • Prior benefits administration experience, a plus.
