Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for helping assigned 12-15 clients achieve their transformational growth goals by developing a culture that fosters highly engaged employees. This individual will ensure our clients align their business goals with those of their team.


Key fundamentals of this role include developing the trust and confidence necessary to help our clients navigate sensitive hiring and performance management decisions, coaching and developing their staff, creating incentive and retention strategies, elevating their personal leadership, and maintaining compliance with state and federal employee regulations. A successful incumbent will possess a breadth of human resources knowledge, strong relationship skills, and the ability to work and collaborate effectively within a highly fast-paced and team-centric environment.

OBJECTIVES

  • Provide tools to help clients develop and sustain the mission, vision, and core values of their business
  • Drive revenue and profit growth through coaching and strategy that are in alignment with the client’s personal, professional, and financial goals
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Professional Development, to develop monthly strategies, quarterly plans, and annual plans for clients
  • Ensure incentive plans and fair wages are consistent in each business by creating, reviewing, and modifying plans
  • Coach clients to effectively hire and integrate new staff members
  • Conduct weekly/monthly follow-up with clients to determine the effectiveness of human resources processes and fine-tune the tactics needed to increase engagement
  • Be responsible for directly and indirectly interacting with the Cardone Ventures Operations Team to improve all systems and processes that drive the success of the business
  • Coach clients on leadership and team development
  • Develop job descriptions for roles within the client’s business, and improve existing descriptions in accordance with best practices
  • Implement plans to support clients’ one-on-one meetings and staff meetings in ways that lift engagement and speed development
  • Establish a consistent performance management system with the necessary performance improvement documents to support the process
  • Guide and advise on termination processes and strategies


COMPETENCIES

  • Ability to outline performance objectives and competencies for job descriptions that attract top talent and align with the client’s Employee Maturity Model
  • Consideration of the business’s priorities when making decisions or analyzing the costs and benefits of various resources planning solutions
  • Ability to achieve and maintain client trust and buy-in of human resources strategies
  • Ability to exercise confidentiality as it relates to all business and client information
  • Ability to speak clearly and be easily understood, ability to maintain eye contact when speaking with others, and ability to summarize or paraphrase to verify understanding
  • Ability to make human resources recommendations that will move the client’s business forward
  • Demonstration of an understanding of all aspects of a client’s business (revenue, profitability, profit margin, and primary initiatives for the quarter)
  • Ability to coach clients on best practices for the employee life cycle (hiring, performance management, and termination) in order to achieve business objectives
  • Ability to hold clients accountable for actionable steps through effective relationship building, leadership, and influence
  • Incorporation of Cardone Ventures’ business philosophies and best practices when guiding clients
  • Embodiment of a high level of human resources literacy regarding performance, vision, goals, culture, and leadership


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of G Suite (Google Slides and Google Docs) and Microsoft Office products
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related area of study, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 5 years of work experience in human resources or related field, preferably in a consulting capacity


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • This position will require travel: up to 5%
