- Serves as point of contact for employee questions, information, and forms.
- Assists with recruitment process, including placing ads, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and generating offer letters. May assist with relocation efforts.
- Processes unemployment and workers’ compensation claims.
- Works with Corporate Human Resources and Payroll for guidance on firmwide practice, policy and procedure adherence. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures for continuous improvement and the quality of services provided.
- Assists in organizational training and development efforts.
- Coordinates benefit enrollments and assists employees with company benefits questions and issues.
- May perform other administrative duties for the department.
- Responsible for the maintenance of employment files, processes required status forms and paperwork, and performs data entry ensuring systems containing employment-related data is accurate. Coordinates closely with Payroll for accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Takes personal responsibility for fostering a green workplace through sustainable work practices.
- Performs administrative functions within the human resources department. Works closely with the Human Resources Manager and/or Human Resources Generalist for guidance on practice and procedure adherence.
- Tracks continuing education and maintains records for licensure.
- Coordinates employee recognition awards program.
- Provides employment verifications for current and former employees.
- Exposure to ADP and SilkRoad preferred.
- Ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality and strong adherence to the practice of business ethics.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work efficiently, in an organized manner and with attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively work with all levels of employees.

- Overtime may be required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1-3 plus years’ human resources management experience required.
