About this position

This position is responsible for supporting the Rippling HRIS and other human resources applications as a functional expert. The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively, work both independently and collaboratively within a small, close-knit team, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone with an upbeat, positive attitude who is eager to support the agency’s mission and achieve its strategic goals.

What you’ll be doing

• Developing operational reports for assigned functional areas that meet business needs and coordinating report delivery and scheduling;
• Investigating, identifying, and documenting functionality issues, and providing resolutions or escalating communication to HR stakeholders;
• Performing other duties as assigned.
• Reviewing procedures and workflows and leveraging data to create business and customer intelligence to improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and functional automation (including responding to research requests for new product offerings, system enhancements, or better utilization of system capabilities);
• Working with vendors as needed for troubleshooting and optimization;
• Effectively collaborating with teams such as Benefits, Payroll, IT, Recruiting, Finance, and other stakeholders to understand business processes, goals, and enhancement opportunities;
• Performing system configuration and maintenance to address evolving business needs;

What you bring to the table

• An understanding of HR terminology and business practices is key, as well as experience with HR applications such as Rippling, Paylocity, or other HRIS systems.
• Human resources/information technology/analytics background;
• Two years of demonstrable experience implementing and maximizing technology supporting HR programs and systems;
• Two years of experience supporting HR applications and processes;
• Technical, associates, or bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred);
• Strong problem resolution, customer service, and communication skills, including process documentation (i.e., flowcharts).

• Requires some evening and weekend work hours;
• Employment, responsibilities, compensation and other factors may be affected by changes in governmental regulations, the agency’s contracts, or at agency discretion.

Salary

• Expected starting salary: Commensurate with experience
• $33.39 to $46.03/ hr
