This position is 100% remote
TopBuild has an opportunity for a Workday HRIS Analyst who will lead, collaborate and support projects and day-to-day administration across all aspects of HR. This role will have a broad range of exposure in maintaining and expanding functionality including HCM, Learning, Recruiting/Onboarding, Payroll/Advanced Comp, Benefits and Talent.

As a member of our HRIS team, you will:
  • Lead design and implementations of interfaces from primary HR systems and coordinate all activities, including requirements gathering, data mapping, design specifications, test strategy and scheduling with internal and vendor teams. Provide direction to technical developers for data conversion, complex reports, interfaces, error handling and custom process builds.
  • Proactively identify and initiate improvement opportunities around system, process, data and user experience, and recommend options.
  • Perform daily system maintenance, troubleshoot issues and provide solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with HR partners and team members to troubleshoot, research, and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Create and conduct training for business super users and on HRIS applications, including features and procedures.
  • Communicate system and process changes across the organization.
  • Lead systems updates/upgrades, working with internal teams and vendors to test changes to ensure systems and processes are working as designed.
  • Monitor and research system integration issues around data, performance, scheduling and file transmissions. Coordinate and communicate resolution on issues with support teams, vendors and business teams.
  • Perform audits, assist with the implementation of system upgrades, assessing system enhancements while minimizing impact on end-users.
  • Serve as an advanced subject matter expert for Workday.
Required Experience & Skills:
  • 4 years of experience managing core HRIS technology
  • 1+ years of experience with Workday HCM, specifically with business process configuration
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel
  • Long-term interest in HRIS
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking, analytics and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate and work with people at all levels
