Job Summary

Finance consulting firm primarily serving the commercial real estate sector seeking a full time Analyst to help support a small but rapidly growing team.We are seeking applicants with a strong work ethic, analytical mindset, keen attention to detail, and ability to maintain a high-quality standard of work in a fast-paced environment.

Daily duties are varied, but focused primarily on supporting more senior team members, running data analysis, maintaining internal models, conducting economic research, and preparing presentation materials for clients.Responsibilities and advancement opportunities are added rapidly for analysts that demonstrate strong capabilities.

Training is hands-on and tailored to the individual with oversight and guidance from senior team members.

Location: Charlotte (South End), North Carolina

Position Type: Full time

Work Hours: 45-50/week

Education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

-Conduct analysis on various datasets to identify opportunities for clients and resource creation

-Monitor and study economic trends and market movements, and prepare materials to present observations

-Create materials for client meetings, presentations, and marketing campaigns

-Update and maintain a variety of pricing models, calculators, and published resources

-Communicate with various trading desks to gather pricing and valuations on an array of hedging products

-Support more senior team members, as necessary, through other tasks as determined on an ad hoc basis

Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree

-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel

-Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills

-Aptitude for mental math and problem-solving

-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

-Solid work ethic and a commitment to meeting deadlines

-Collaborative team player with a positive attitude

-Integrity and accountability

-Passion for learning about financial markets and the commercial real estate industry

Preferred but not required:

-Working knowledge in data analysis tools or programming languages such as VBA, Python, R, Domo, etc.

-Prior experience in a client-facing or customer service role

-Basic knowledge of financial markets, commercial real estate, or economics

-Familiarity with Bloomberg Terminal, HubSpot, and/or ClickUp

Our office is fast paced, small, and collaborative.Candidates must fit in with the team.

Salary Level

~$50,000 starting, with opportunity for bonus and potential for rapid growth.
