The opportunity

The Operations Coordinator processes and/or reviews more complex transactions of a Human Resources (HR) nature in accordance with the established policies and procedures within the Human Resource, Talent Enablement Center (TEC).

Your Key Responsibilities

As an Operations Coordinator at the Administrative Advanced rank, you’ll be expected to perform duties and responsibilities with limited supervision in accordance with established policies and procedures. You will perform detailed reconciliation and balancing of HR transactions and escalate questions and/or discrepancies. You’ll be expected to proactively contact field members of the Americas Talent Team, other EY personnel and external parties regarding processing issues as appropriate. You will identify and propose solutions on transaction issues to leadership. You’ll prepare, contribute and may run reporting as directed along with meet production volume and quality standards as outlined by department management.

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Ability to research, analyze, interpret, and document transactions and issues with minimal supervision, following standard HRSSC procedures
• Proficient with Firm standard technology including Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook, Intranet, and other ATT related applications
• Understand the expectations of customers and deliver service that exceeds customer’s needs within department guidelines

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Adept at demonstrating a commitment to the job
• Ability to meet challenges and changes with an open mind
• Ability to anticipate clients’ needs
• Exhibit a positive can-do attitude and approach to responsibilities
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Able to identify and resolve issues that impact the delivery of quality service
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience
• Assist with special projects
• Proven experience and abilities to provide coaching to less experienced team members

Ideally, you'll also have

• Specific knowledge of HR functions preferred
• Minimum 1-3 years related experience

What We Offer

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $38,500 to $67,700. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $46,200 to $76,900. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
