- Ensures pre-hire and new hire onboarding activities are completed, including I-9 and E-Verify processing

- Handles sensitive and confidential employee issues.
- Receives and maintains employee personnel records, ensuring accuracy and completeness of workforce data.
- Maintains basic knowledge and understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements affecting HR practices; stays current on federal and state employment law
- Monitors transactional business process workflow and approvals progression
- Partner with HRIS to identify and resolve any technical issues impacting recruiting processes or data management
- Critical thinking skills and an innovative, problem-solving mind-set
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Self-motivated, including strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage changing requirements
- Proficient with core Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, FCC, OFCCP Compliance, and reporting a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Acts with sense of urgency and drives issues through completion with a positive attitude
- Results oriented with a strong sense of accountability and urgency
- Articulate and able to effectively communicate through emails, internal messaging, and by phone with all levels of management and employees alike
- Workday HCM experience preferred
- 2 years of previous HR experience or equivalent of combined education and experience
- BS / BA Degree preferred
- Ability to work within prescribed guidelines without needing close supervision
- Ability to act in a professional manner and collaborate with colleagues of different levels
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Respect for others and a strong belief that others should do this in return
- Problem solving skills within established procedures
- Understanding of when to seek guidance for unforeseen problems
