What We Need:


iHeartMedia is looking for an Employee Services Specialist to join our HR Employee Services Team. The Specialist contributes to basic core HR functions and supports various aspects of HR Operations, including: recruiting and hiring processes, employee data hygiene through system audits, Tier 2 level support to managers and employees alike in resolving system related inquiries, and ensuring federal, state and local compliance requirements are implemented and enforced.


What You'll Do:


  • Ensures pre-hire and new hire onboarding activities are completed, including I-9 and E-Verify processing
  • Seeks opportunities to automate and continuously improve business processes
  • Supports unemployment claims using a third-party systematic process
  • Educates end-users on HRIS self-service capabilities
  • Provide support, training, and direction to system users
  • Demonstrates courteous, friendly, and efficient service to team members and internal clients.
  • Reviews and analyzes audit reports to ensure employee data is accurately maintained in HRIS
  • Acts as a resource for incoming calls and emails from management or employees and efficiently resolves issues utilizing our case management system
  • Handles sensitive and confidential employee issues.
  • Receives and maintains employee personnel records, ensuring accuracy and completeness of workforce data.
  • Maintains basic knowledge and understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements affecting HR practices; stays current on federal and state employment law
  • Monitors transactional business process workflow and approvals progression
  • Partner with HRIS to identify and resolve any technical issues impacting recruiting processes or data management


What You'll Need:


  • Critical thinking skills and an innovative, problem-solving mind-set
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Self-motivated, including strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage changing requirements
  • Proficient with core Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, FCC, OFCCP Compliance, and reporting a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Acts with sense of urgency and drives issues through completion with a positive attitude
  • Results oriented with a strong sense of accountability and urgency
  • Articulate and able to effectively communicate through emails, internal messaging, and by phone with all levels of management and employees alike


Qualifications:


  • Workday HCM experience preferred
  • 2 years of previous HR experience or equivalent of combined education and experience
  • BS / BA Degree preferred
