Job Description

Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.

This role will be part of our DI SW People & Organization (Human Resources) Generalist Support Hub. It will lead the US Hub team as a working leader and be a front-line support to our employees, managers and HR Partners and be accountable for delivering high quality customer service. The role provides HR operational and administrative support for our DI SW corporate functions, R&D Segments and Sales groups-—partnering with HR Partners, Managers, and Employees in a variety of human resources support and generalist areas.

Main areas of support for our Generalist Hub are:

  • Employee Relations
  • Virtual Manager and Employee Training
  • P&O Business Partner Support
  • Policy & Program Management

These responsibilities include but are not limited to......

  • Program managing central strategic and/ or learning & development programs.
  • Providing HR policy guidance and interpretation. (i.e., EE, Manager inquiries)
  • Managing and resolving basic to complex employee relations issues, investigations
  • Providing day-to-day performance management guidance to local management
  • Providing support on business unit restructures (RIF, EEO Reporting, Assessment Spreadsheets), M&A, workforce planning
  • Developing HR programs and Initiatives (i.e., Automate Exit Interview process, etc.)
  • Facilitating immigration & delegation processes by partnering with HR Operations and partnering with the Global Mobility & Immigration Team
  • Providing coordination, communication, and delivery of virtual training to employees and managers on HR related matters
  • Welcoming new hires via HR Introduction E-Mail and availability to answer onboarding questions.
  • Coordinating employee related requests to ensure accurate and timely follow up and closure/ resolution of their requests or concerns.
  • Providing HR policy guidance and interpretation
  • Managing mass communication on HR related topics (i.e., US HR Updates & Reminders, Employee/ Manager Reminder Deadline, Workday Updates, etc.)
  • Support of our Exit interview Process
  • Aligning between HR Partner and HR Operations to ensure delivery of HR support in a variety of areas.
  • Managing incoming emails from our centralized HR Generalist support mailbox and ensuring appropriate follow up.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field
  • 5+ years minimum experience in an HR related role
  • Strong background in Employee Relations and/or HR Generalist experience
  • Experience leading and resolving employee relations issues while working with legal to mitigate risk.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Experience working in a shared services model
  • Team Leadership experience preferred, not mandatory.

The salary range for this position is $113,900 to $205,000 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
