Job Description
Comprehensive A/R Solutions is a Corridor company, a market leading provider of revenue cycle management (RCM) solutions to Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs). The Comprehensive goal is to maximize our clients’ revenues through stewardship of the revenue cycle that they entrust to us, teamwork within our department and throughout the company, and integrity guiding all our actions.
We are seeking a full-time HMO Insurance Collections Specialist who will be responsible to follow up on unpaid claims to ensure proper financial reimbursement from insurance companies.

Responsibilities Include:


Candidate will track unpaid claims, denied claims, discrepancies and the like with various insurance companies.
  • Thorough understanding of all common and uncommon denials
  • Working on all denied/partially paid claims until full payment is received
  • Aiming for 99% collections
  • Taking time to “clean up” balances by writing off rates/NAMI’s/other adjustments
  • Understanding when to forward a case to the biller/tracker
  • Understanding how the higher dollar balances impact our collection rate and focus
  • Working in a time-efficient manner to cover all denied claim from assigned homes
Qualifications:
  • Interpersonal skills/expectations include: Excellent communication skills. Effective telephone skills a must.
  • Persistence and perseverance a must.
  • Organization skills/expectations include: Attention to detail necessary.
Education/Experience: High School or equivalent
Computer Skills: Familiar with Microsoft Office
Work Schedule:
  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
