Job Description

VXForward has a great opportunity for a .NET Front End Developer - 100% Remote with one of our clients.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Experience with Test-first development using TDD or BDD
  • Must be comfortable developing HTML, JavaScript, and CSS by hand (not drag & drop).
  • Proficiency with Angular is required.
  • 4 to 6 years’ experience with web development technologies (HTML, JavaScript, & CSS) and techniques (AJAX, cross-browser compatibility, standards-compliant XHTML).
  • Knowledge of AWS CloudFront
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum
  • Understanding of Dependency Injection/Inversion of Control
  • Unit testing and mocking frameworks.
  • Mongo (or other document database) experience.
  • Test-first development using test-driven development or behaviour driven development.
  • 5 to 8 years of progressive application systems development experience utilizing a full systems development life cycle, with experience in the following strongly preferred:
  • Agile development methodologies such as Scrum and Extreme Programming.
  • JQuery experience is a plus.
  • Dependency injection/inversion of control.
  • Understanding of the S.O.L.I.D. principles of software development
  • Using common software design patterns (e.g., factory, singleton, adapter, decorator, visitor, and strategy patterns).
  • Understanding of C# and the .Net 6 framework. a plus.
