Job Description

We are looking for a Head of Social Media, Influencers, and Partnerships to lead a team and build an integrated strategy around social media content, influencer engagement, and content/brand partnerships for our entertainment and theater clients.


The Head of Social Media, Influencers, and Partnerships will be responsible for driving audience engagement across earned and shared media touch points. They will lead a team and build an integrated strategy around social content, audience engagement, community management, sponsor and branded partnerships and strategic influencer engagement for our clients.  They will have a strong vision for compelling, high impact partnerships, experiential activations and content and will work closely with the team to identify innovative ways to grow engagement through breakthrough ideas.  Simply put, they will make our clients' brands famous.   


WHAT YOU’LL DO:


  • Work with project teams to create holistic campaign briefs and drive cross functional orchestration between functions.
  • Sit on the Agency Leadership Team, collaborating with other leaders to ensure our processes, POVs, and practices ensure the best outcomes for our clients.
  • Identify, train, manage, and nurture talent and direct reports. 
  • Collaborate with the team to brainstorm holistic campaign ideas that break through and get into the cultural zeitgeist.
  • Provide thought leadership and perspective on emerging technologies, trends, tools and learning for adoption where appropriate, to keep the agency at the forefront of developments in content and partner delivery.
  • Oversee development of integrated strategy across social media, influencers, and partnerships to achieve client objectives.
  • Create integrated strategies across verticals, functions, and clients .


WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:


  • A passion for entertainment and the arts.
  • A passionate expert about earned and shared media, including how influential different platforms can be in driving customer experience and desire. 
  • A willingness to bring positivity and productivity to challenging situations. 
  • An avid creator, with a great visual eye and passion for curating and creating inspiring partnerships and content. 
  • Agency experience. 
  • A commitment to AKA’s values of Accountability, Integrity, Creativity and Collaboration.   
  • A highly creative individual who can develop new ideas to the industry.  
  • A desire and drive to question the expected. 
  • 15+ years of experience in integrated or content marketing, strategic partnerships, and/or social media from a B2C perspective for entertainment, cultural or arts clients.  


WHAT WE OFFER:
  • 20 days vacation per year, increasing with years of service (to a maximum of 25 days)
  • 100% employer-paid healthcare for employees

  • Flexible 40 hour week built around core hours M-F 10AM-5PM
  • Minimum of 4 weeks paid parental leave, increasing with years of service (to a maximum of 12 paid weeks)

  • A competitive salary between $140,000 - $165,000, commensurate with experience
  • WFA for 2 weeks in August
  • Student loan repayment assistance (or tuition assistance) up to $5,000 with 6 years of service
  • 100% employer-paid dental care for employees
  • Paid 4-week sabbatical with 10 years of service
  • 1/2 day Summer Fridays between mid-June and Labor Day
  • 5 paid sick days per year
  • 12 paid public holidays per year
  • Training and Development fund up to $1,000 per employee, per year
  • Hybrid position: minimum three days per week in office
