About the Role:


The Manager, Retail Marketing will lead and execute the marketing strategy, for assigned domestic retail accounts. The manager will work in tandem with the Marketing and Sales teams to develop materials and programs that support our brands positioning and each account's specific goals and needs.


  • Develop Retail Marketing strategy for assigned account(s) in partnership with Marketing Team, Sales, and Education including sampling, visual merchandising, in-store & digital activation strategies for retail channels.
  • Develop strategies and initiatives based on Marketing priorities, ensuring balance and appropriate focus among core vs. newness SKUs
  • Translating domestic marketing campaigns & initiatives to meet the needs of our retail partners
  • Liaison with the Education department to develop support materials and training plans aligned with brand objectives
  • Identify key seasonal opportunities at channel/customer level
  • Ensure all deliverables (comps, visuals, spreadsheets, etc.) are executed on time
  • Partner with Marketing team to ensure all strategies are consistent with global brand strategies and positioning
  • Be the gatekeeper on dedicated account budget, working closely with the Marketing Director to ensure spend is on track
  • Collaborate with Sales to develop strategies that link back to overall brand objectives and deliver strong ROI. Execute all programs flawlessly and on-time
  • Create and manage marketing calendar for assigned retailers


Retail Marketing (360 Planning)


  • Identify marketing opportunities with retailers and propose creative and unique executions
  • Create and implement marketing planning tools, including 360 marketing calendars, retailer-facing marketing planning materials, and at-a-glance tools to ensure all teams have a thorough knowledge of marketing activations and account-specific activity by product or campaign
  • Support Marketing Director in executing brand-led retailer social & influencer strategy to increase SOV and drive traffic to retail.com. Partner with internal social and influencer team to identify opportunities for increased engagement and amplification.


About You:


  • 7 years marketing experience required, ideally within channel or trade marketing
  • Quick thinker and problem solver
  • Excellent communication & people skills
  • Expertise in visual merchandising required
  • Experience working for or supporting beauty industry retailers is required
  • Highly motivated, self-starter who manages multiple projects end-to-end and has a demonstrated track record of getting results, organizing and prioritizing deadlines
  • Ability to drive, communicate and organize projects from concept to execution
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred
