Head Of Marketing E-Commerce

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Marketing to join our luxury startup team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, driving customer acquisition and retention, and growing brand awareness. This role will report directly to the CEO and work collaboratively with other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong brand identity across all touchpoints, including website, social media, advertising, and packaging
• Build and manage customer engagement and loyalty programs to drive repeat purchases and advocacy
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive growth and meet business objectives
• Continuously evaluate market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies and tactics
• Build and implement a data-driven approach to marketing, analyzing and interpreting customer behavior and engagement to optimize marketing campaigns and strategies.
• Build and lead the marketing team to execute campaigns across all channels, including digital, social media, email, events, and PR
• Establish and maintain relationships with key partners, influencers, and media outlets to increase brand awareness and drive sales
• Collaborate with the product team to align marketing initiatives with product development and ensure a cohesive brand experience
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and reporting to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as Head of Marketing or relevant role
• A willingness to work long and unsociable hours. As a fast-growing start-up, this a ‘roll your sleeves up’ role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines
• Experience working in luxury, fashion, or lifestyle brands is preferred
• Passionate about luxury and lifestyle products and trends
• Entrepreneurial, problem-solving attitude
• Experience working on a marketplace or a two-sided platform.
• Proven track record of building and executing successful marketing strategies that drive growth and revenue
• Experience working in a startup
• Resourceful, efficient, and works fast
• Strong leadership skills, including team building, mentoring, and coaching
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
• Minimum of 7 years of marketing experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role

Compensation:

As an early-stage startup with no external funding yet, the compensation for the Head of Marketing will be in the form of equity shares. However, as soon as the company raises its first round of funding in the upcoming months, the compensation will become monetary and will be commensurate with experience and skills.
