Manager Of Product Management, Protein Analysis

As the Manager of Product Management, Protein Analysis, you will be responsible for leading a team of Product Managers to ensure product innovation, strategy lifecycle management and roadmap to develop and maintain market leading products which are differentiated from our competitors.

What You Will Accomplish Together With Us

• Define in year business priorities to guide development and execution of tactical marketing plans with campaign management and Segment Marketing
• On-going development of the product vision and strategy. Synthesize ideas on strategy, planning and execution of next generation of products. Building consensus and driving execution
• Product lifecycle management from concept to phasing out of the product(s) across portfolio
• Manage team of product managers (team of 3)
• Work with operations on all elements of the product (Demand planning, manufacturing, backorder management
• Work with customers, field-based stakeholders and internally to define and refine product requirements
• Maintain product and market knowledge. Analyses and keep abreast of market trends
• Aggressively identify opportunities for improvement and incorporate new product features on an on-going basis. Define market opportunities and develop product briefs
• Own global pricing for product group
• Manage existing product lines, maintaining and/or increasing profitability and margin
• Conduct competitive analysis and develop a strong business case to drive development decisions; drive consensus/alignment with stakeholders
• Create product strategy, product roadmaps and specification of product requirements
• Best practice market research and benchmarking
• Lead cross-functional teams to realize product concepts and bring them to market

What Will Convince Us

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to present with impact to senior management
• Master's degree or higher in science or related field e.g.: Biology, Immunology, Neuroscience, Molecular Biology or Biochemistry is preferred
• History of working with cross functional partners to drive success and results
• Product Management experience in life science industry with experience in Protein Analysis industry preferred
• MBA preferred

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in product management
• Experience identifying and quantifying market opportunities, defining a strategy and a history of executing with success.

Compensation for this position will be a base salary between $140,000.00 and $200,000.00 plus bonus depending on experience. (Higher starting salaries may be available in other locations based on geographic differentials.)
