Job Description

Description: The Ecommerce Product Associate is a key member of the ecommerce team and will be responsible for accurately entering data relevant to the brands and products on fredsegal.com. This includes communicating with brands/vendors for content or creating content based on best practices to ensure that all products are optimized with details to support conversions and provide a positive customer experience. Responsible for all website product uploads while also working cross functionally with other departments at Fred Segal including Operations, Buying/Merch and Creative/Design to ensure we’re striving for an elevated site experience that aligns with Fred Segal brand guidelines. This role should possess knowledge and proficiencies within current trends in fashion, site operations, web/e-comm photography and be highly organized and process oriented. Ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator with the ability to connect the dots between several processes. Additionally, they are detailed, meticulous, organized and demonstrates online fashion knowledge.


Responsibilities:

  • Be the liaison between teams and departments.
  • Organize and maintain digital assets in a centralized repository.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates, gather requirements, and address project-related concerns.
  • Support merch teams with vendor management and communication
  • Continuously articulate ideas and demonstrate a willingness to bring new ideas to the fore front.
  • Continue to identify opportunities and improve internal processes.
  • Conduct thorough quality checks on digital content and assets to ensure accuracy, functionality, and adherence to design specifications.
  • Own and manage all digital content uploading to site, including PDP copy and images (editorial + product)
  • Own and oversee all product data and setup process to ensure accurate and timely publication of products via Teamwork Commerce and Shopify.


Basic Qualifications

  • Experience with project management tools i.e Airtable, Trello
  • Ability to adapt and pivot as needed to changing business needs
  • Solution seeking; team player attitude.
  • Excellent communicator
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications


Preferred Qualification

  • Multi-brand retailer experience
  • Tech savvy
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle processes
  • Bachelor’s degree in fashion, operations, business, or a related field
  • Fashion and textile knowledge


LA-based candidates only as this position is a hybrid role requiring at least 1-2-days a week in the office located near UCLA. This is a full-time role and will be eligible to opt into our benefit package after 90 days of continuous employment. This includes medical coverage, Dental, Vision, accrued PTO, and a 401k.
