Job Description

Who are we:

Caraway is a home goods brand on a mission to craft well-designed, non-toxic kitchenware that thoughtfully raises the standards of what you cook with. We’re passionate about creating elevated products, free of chemicals, that are better for you, your family, and the world. We prioritize a holistic approach to the creation of Caraway products. We partner with ethical manufacturers where their employees are safe, paid fairly, given benefits, and work regulated hours. Our eco-friendly manufacturing process releases less CO2 into the environment than traditional non-stick coatings and we engage in sustainable packaging practices, free of single-use plastics and ship in packaging made from recycled materials. We pride ourselves on continuously striving to do and be better - for you and the planet - every step of the process.

Since launching in November 2019, we’ve become one of the fastest growing digitally-native brands of the last decade and are now sold in retailers including Target, Bloomingdale’s, Crate & Barrel, Container Store, Costco, Zola, and many more.

We’ve amassed over 58,000+ five-star reviews from happy customers and hundreds of press hits from the likes of Vogue, Domino, Good Housekeeping, Food & Wine, Architectural Digest, PureWow, Fortune, CNN.

Caraway is a fully-remote company filled with motivated and hardworking innovators and doers. We’re continually developing programs to support our distributed team to ensure a successful remote experience. If you’re looking to join a brand that folks love, read on and apply!

The Opportunity:

Caraway’s podcast program was launched in early 2022 and has shown strong success with over 100 shows tested, all with the help of an audio agency. With this, we have decided to begin to bring podcast buys in-house and are looking to expand our team to help with this transition and are looking for an experienced, highly organized and collaborative Growth Senior Associate to support the management of our podcast expansion strategy. This role sits on the Growth team and reports to the Offline Acquisition Lead.

Who You Are:

The ideal candidate has previous experience in the podcast industry managing a budget and can easily build relationships with external stakeholders. The ideal candidate is passionate about their work, is accountable, and possesses strong communication skills. This individual will work closely with our new podcast partners, building long-lasting effective and trusting working relationships that are in support of Caraway Home’s business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify areas for creative optimizations, create briefs for new talking points, and manage distribution of talking points to new and existing partners
  • Contribute to audio test planning goals through partner optimization and ownership
  • Manage reporting and optimizations of podcast test campaigns by analyzing and presenting relevant growth metrics
  • Create and foster relationships with podcast hosts to build an authentic partnership and improve brand loyalty & love
  • Work with a mix of independent and network-run shows to negotiate CPMs and finalize spot dates
  • Drive meaningful sales growth on audio using all available tools and resources and a ‘test & learn’ approach
  • Lead and support other strategic projects and initiatives to support the Growth team, as needed
  • Create new product launch strategies on podcasts (select shows to participate, send Caraway products, update talking points, track performance, etc.)
  • Maintain and track new podcast partnerships — set up initial agreements, educate on usage and benefits, product ordering, track placements, and post-campaign analysis
  • Perform in-depth competitive and industry research to help identify new test verticals and keep our audio strategy cutting-edge
  • Measure the effectiveness of each podcast campaign against performance guardrails and provide recommendations to enable partners to maximize customer acquisition
  • Manage, expand, and optimize our new podcast partners - identify, onboard, and set our partners up for long-term success with our brand

Knowledge, skill, and abilities:

  • 2+ years experience in performance/growth marketing
  • Prior experience working in the Podcast industry is a must
  • Strong written communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience in Magellan or Podscribe a plus
  • Highly detail oriented and a proactive problem-solver
  • Strong proficiency with Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel (Looker or similar reporting platform experience a plus)
  • Very comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to pivot, prioritize, and execute on changing goals and needs
  • Desire to take initiative and to follow through on projects
  • A relentless desire to optimize, improve, and use data and metrics to drive decision making
  • A professional, personable demeanor over the phone, on video calls, and in person
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Caraway Life:

Caraway is an exciting, fully remote DTC retail startup company that is bringing kitchenware and home goods into the modern era, leading from a non-toxic and sustainable foundation.

Team: You will be joining a passionate and collaborative fully-remote team that prides itself on high-quality work, supporting one another, sharing our successes, and building a brand we truly love, together.

Culture: At Caraway, we value continuous learning and career growth. We strive to continually optimize our processes, ensuring that we’re thoughtful in everything we do, both internally and externally. We listen to our employees, celebrate our wins, and constantly look for ways to be better for our team, and the world.

Workplace: Being a fully-remote company, we have no headquarters and are truly distributed across the country. Our leadership team sits on both the East and West Coast and we have folks in a variety of states. We offer a monthly stipend towards co-working space should folks need to switch up their working environment every now and then.

Benefits: We value you and your family. With this in mind, full-time eligible employees are provided:

  • Health, dental, and vision offerings for you and your dependents
  • 3 months Parental leave
  • 11+ paid holidays
  • Competitive salary + equity options
  • Fully Remote Company
  • Company-sponsored monthly wellness stipend
  • Pre-tax Commuter and FSA/Dependent Care FSA, and HSA options
  • Unlimited PTO
  • High quality home and kitchen product + swag, F&F discounts
  • 401(k) plan
  • Company-sponsored monthly coworking stipend
