We are looking for a Testing Specialist to help us optimize and scale our statistical testing capabilities for ESG/Sustainable Investing OpenInvest Research Solutions. We are a leading provider of ESG/Sustainable Investing data-driven investment solutions, and we are looking for a committed team member to help grow and maintain our data testing capabilities across a wide range of solutions use cases. Using your knowledge of ESG data sets, statistical analysis and stakeholder relationship, you will curate OpenInvest’s testing capabilities, routinely test OpenInvest Research solutions for suitability in applicable use cases, provide input to needed testing tool requirement and communicate testing results to a cross-functional audience of research, engineering, marketing, sales enablement, product and data management stakeholders.


What You’ll Do:


  • Ensure the department has robust business management processes, systems, and workflow in place to continue the advancement of its work
  • Where required, support the development of value stream mapping and operating model evolution to support the needs of the OpenInvest Research department
  • Advise and provide support to OpenInvest Research Senior Leadership including a wide range of deliverables to optimize business delivery, manage a growing team of Researchers to efficiency, and support special projects as needed
  • Support the standardization of processes and procedures that are repeatable across the OpenInvest Research department, documenting them for resiliency, cross-training, and process improvement opportunities
  • Support a wide variety of projects across CR and the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, including scoping, milestone development, risk/issue tracking, status reporting, action item tracking, etc
  • Support head of OpenInvest Research Business Management with a broad portfolio of projects, priorities, and initiatives across the Research function, factoring in impact, risk, and return on resource investment
  • Work directly with the Head of OpenInvest Research and Senior Business Management to fill the role, demonstrating a passion for Sustainable Investing and leveraging their expertise to build partnerships, guide change, and support OpenInvest Values-Based Investing strategic growth plans
  • Provide support as a centralizing and neutral force across the OpenInvest Research team, and other OpenInvest Functions, helping to translate needs, support with transformation projects, and technology rollouts
Who You Are:


  • 3+ years of experience in business management functions and working with senior executives, preferably with a background in ESG/Sustainable Investing
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience presenting business cases for high-profile and complex projects to various stakeholders with different levels of subject matter knowledge
  • Familiarity with common data testing and analysis techniques using tools such as Excel and/or Tableau
  • Experience creating compelling and succinct presentations for a wide array of audiences
  • Strong sense of ownership and responsibility to colleagues and clients

Nice to Haves:


  • 2 years of experience in ESG, Sustainability, SRI, or Impact Investing Experience evaluating new data sets for the suitability, especially in an ESG/Sustainability context
  • Research specialization/background in an area applicable to Sustainable Investing
  • Experience with Python
  • Experience in ESG-focused education or communication efforts
