Responsibilities

This opportunity can be REMOTE or HYBRID work arrangement

TRC Power Delivery offers a full range of design and planning services for virtually any transmission or communication line project. With transmission line experience, up to 500kV, and ongoing fiber-optic communication projects completed nationwide, TRC Power Delivery is adept at handling any linear project.

General Description Of Position

Perform an entry level engineering role in the design of electrical transmission lines and associated foundations, tower - pole sizing, attachments and hardware.

Essential Functions Of Position

• Communications Systems
• Distribution Engineering
• Perform design activities requiring a basic understanding of drawings, calculations, specifications, and industry standards and practices covering the assigned work.
• Electrical Control Systems
• Protective Relaying
• Responsible for complete and accurate record keeping and quality of all work performed.
• Develop knowledge of the Company-s design, construction, QA/QC, safety standards and the Company document control system.
• Shall have a basic knowledge of the theory, practices, and procedures pertaining to engineering matters in one or more of the following areas:
• Automation Systems
• Substation Design
• Power Systems Analysis
• Communications Systems
• Electrical Engineering
• Substation Automation
• Computer Engineering
• Other duties as required
• Civil Engineering
• Transmission Systems
• May be required to travel to support work.
• Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings, calculations, cost estimates, specifications, evaluations, and requisitions.
• Mechanical Engineering
• Civil Engineering
• Develop professional work knowledge and abilities in one or more of the following areas:

Qualifications

Requirements

• Coursework in statics/dynamics and experience with SolidWorks is a plus
• Initiate and maintain the PDE Engineering Qualification template for the appropriate Job Title.
• Ability to complete the PDE Qualification-General template.
• Shall have a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited engineering program or an Associate-s Degree in Engineering with the appropriate experience at a Designer level.

In accordance with local law, the salary for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 per year.
