The Experian Global Security Office (EGSO) provides a full suite of information security services from engineering to security risk management, policy, metrics, and identity management. Its vision is to protect, connect and create its business in a secure and resilient manner. The Information Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance team is the principal advocate for information security and is responsible for the development and delivery of a comprehensive information security strategy to optimize the security posture of the organization.

As our Global Security Change Director, you will join a talented and experienced information security team and help to define the security posture of a top global company. The successful candidate will take a key role within a growing team, applying their expertise to oversee and manage releases from the Experian Global Security Office, covering areas such as process, product enhancements, policy, reporting and standards. The role is responsible for the end-to-end operation of the Release Management Framework and its continued evolution and improvement as well as managing an internal Net Promoter Score ensuring security services are measured from a value and performance standpoint.

Work That Matters - What You’ll Be Doing

This role will see you working with colleagues across the Global Security Office, business stakeholders and GSO Leadership.

• Help develop standard Change Management communications with key stakeholders
• Manage and oversee the overall release management calendar and schedule 
• Ensuring that proposed change management plans contribute positively to improved engagement with all stakeholders, and reduce impact and risk to the business
• Facilitate and chair the review and approval of proposed releases with the GSO Senior Leadership Team and the Global CISO
• Develop metrics to measure the volume, throughput and effectiveness of the process.
• Work with the Change Owners to confirm successful implementation of the release and perform lessons learned reviews to continually improve the process and our engagement with key stakeholders
• Work with Change Owners to review proposed releases ensuring that all requirements are met to achieve a successful release and approvals are in place
• Work with Change Owners to help remove roadblocks and resolve challenges which may impact release scope, quality, and schedules
• Develop a Net Promoter Score to help measure stakeholder and business engagement of standard Information Security services which are largely impacted by change.
• Support Change Owners in developing their plans; ensuring that all required stakeholders are engaged, engagements coordinated, and effective communication plans are developed and delivered to support the release.
• Be the GSO subject matter expert for Change Management – develop, operate, and continuously improve the framework e.g., process flows, playbooks, and artefacts.

Qualifications

What you’ll need to bring to the role & Experian

• Experience in coordinating cross-functional work teams to task completion
• Enthusiastic and engaging communicator with a passion for engaging with stakeholders at all levels
• Structured thinking
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Change Management within a fast-paced environment
• An awareness and understanding of the key elements which go to make up effective Cyber Security programmes
• Experience in service management a plus
• Excellent organisational skills with a track record of improving processes
• Excellent analytical skills
• An ability to be the GSO subject matter expert in Change Management
• Eight to ten years of experience in using project or release management tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience and education. This position is also eligible for a variable pay opportunity and a comprehensive benefits package which includes health, life and disability insurance, generous paid time off including paid parental and family care leave, an employee stock purchase plan and a 401(k) plan with a company match.
