DroneSec is looking for a global head of sales to take our drone threat intelligence company to the next level. The successful candidate will be responsible for aggressively growing company revenues whilst running a global team that does direct sales, partnerships and channel/OEM deals. The ideal candidate will be someone capable of operating at the executive level whilst being a player coach within the sales function. A proven track-record in enterprise sales is essential, as is a high regard or in-depth subject matter expertise in sophisticated cybersecurity, threat intelligence or government sales.


The successful candidate will:

  • Develop and execute company strategy, including the development of sales messaging, presentations, pitch decks, data sheets and sales proposals.
  • Lead, recruit, retain and mentor the high calibre global sales team.
  • Setup and umpire sales territories/regions for the sales team.
  • Work with other internal leaders (engineering, finance, intelligence etc) to achieve internal goals and promote customer retention.
  • Negotiate pricing (low six figures to low seven figures) with direct customers and partners.
  • Setup KPIs, goals, quotas and processes for the sales team.
  • Work with the executive team to develop and implement agreed product and positioning strategy.
  • Receive a competitive package that includes salary, bonuses based on company revenue and equity in the company (stock grants, not options).

Experience and Skills:

  • Experience and ability to run a sales team as well as do sales directly themselves (player coach).
  • Experience building and/or running a global sales team within a fast growing and established security startup.
  • Experience with or understanding of how US government agencies procure cybersecurity or threat intelligence products.
