Front Desk Supervisor Jobs

Houston Marriott Westhcase Hotel is hiring for an experienced full-time Hotel Front Desk Supervisor.

This is a flex shift position working 3-4 days 3 PM - 11 PM and 1-2 days working 7AM - 3 PM, various days of the week and heavy weekends.

The Front Desk Supervisor provides guidance and leadership, ensuring consistent quality customer service is delivered. The Front Desk Supervisor will have high motivation and a servant's heart, be able to work with a team and lead by example using their outstanding communication skills to create a positive environment with focus on providing to our guest and host alike service excellence.

The sucessful candidate will have the proven knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using another combination of skills and abilities.

• Ability to stand, walk and continuously perform behind the front desk.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and prepare complex reports of room availability and revenues generated.
• Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Prior hospitality experience is a must.  
• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger and collect accurate information and resolve conflicts.
