Fp&A Senior Associate

A leading private multi-asset alternative investment firm, located in Boston, is looking for an experienced FP&A Senior Associate to join their team! This person will work on the FP&A team and will help develop strategic operations plans for senior executives. They will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and working with multi-year financial plans etc. If you’re interested, please keep reading!

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with compensation team and corporate finance/accounting team on a daily basis
• Support capital structure management exercises; balance sheet & cash flow analysis
• Contribute to the development of the organization’s long-term multi-year strategic plan; incorporating real-time and planned changes to the business
• Compile analysis around the annual budget process and related monitoring exercises throughout the year
• Assist in developing & maintaining an Executive Dashboard of key metrics

Qualifications:

• Must be willing to work on a hybrid schedule (3 days a week in office)
• Financial services industry (private equity or banking) a plus
• 4-6 years of experience, preferably in either a corporate FP&A group that has provided foundation in corporate finance and business strategy, or a public accounting firm
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
• Creative problem-solving ability and sound judgment – ability to use own initiative and take responsibility for decisions
• Strong excel and PowerPoint skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with capacity to interact with all levels
• Excellent organizational skills; ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects with the highest attention to detail
