Senior Fp&A Analyst

PE backed - high growth software company is currently seeking an Senior FP&A Analyst. The Senior FP&A Analyst will own aspects of the month end close financial reporting process, provide ad hoc analysis to leadership, and assisting with continuous efforts to drive operation efficiency through implementing new systems and streamlining daily functions. In addition, the Senior FP&A Analyst will also have an emphasis on helping to drive strategic decision-making. This position is expected to interface with executive management, as well as all parts of the Finance & Accounting groups to ensure rigorous analysis and responsive communication to all stakeholders, including executive management. The Senior FP&A Analyst will be strongly motivated and a self-starter. The Senior Financial Analyst will report directly to the VP of Finance.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models using data mining and business research tools
• Analyze and research variances to identify problems or trends and present solutions
• Participate in all aspects of financial planning, calculation and reporting of incentives and financial analysis
• Perform various analyses including M&A, break even, investment, capital expenditure, and relocation
• Assist with annual budget process
• Serve as a reference for and maintain files of information frequently requested by Executive Management
• Prepare financial projections and valuations

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Highly motivated, team-oriented and able to handle tight deadlines and changing priorities
• Strong analytical, presentation and organizational skills
• Excellent time management and ability to follow-through on multiple projects
