Director Of Fp&A

Sevco Security is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior FP&A professional. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precise forecasting, financial modeling, GAAP, variance analysis, Microsoft Excel, and KPIs. While your focus will be on FP&A, you'll also have the opportunity to branch out into revenue operations, pricing models, software tool implementation, and various ad hoc projects.
Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role is fully remote, with a 10% travel requirement for company-wide events.
What You Will Do:

• Calculate, review and report on various monthly KPI’s to senior management highlighting and summarizing sales performance, cost trends, along with recommendations to optimize spending.
• Assist in monthly close and ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
• Support the broader business goals. Leverage data and analytics to inform Sales, Operations, and Marketing strategies that enable continued high growth and increasing profitability.
• Assist in annual variable compensation planning and quarterly calculations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
• Provide data-backed recommendations to influence business decisions, which include presentations to senior management.
• Conduct sensitivity analysis scenarios incorporating strategic goals and objectives.
• Develop and monitor financial KPIs to identify and evaluate dependencies & financial opportunities to drive growth and margin improvements. Familiarity with SaaS metrics and able to interpret the results to management for efficiencies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement data metrics and develop data enrichment improvement initiatives. Experience using BI Tools a plus.
• Create and lead a strategic planning process providing long-range and detailed plans by using dynamic financial models. Maintain a rolling forecast. Report out actuals to forecast results with in depth variance analysis.
• Manage and execute special projects, performing complex analyses, summarizing conclusions, and making recommendations to the senior management team.
• Excellent at analyzing the financial statements and translate results including cash burn, margins analysis and report on trends and fluctuations. Optimize our working capital requirements.
• Assist in Deal Desk Operations including quote approvals and pricing analysis

• 10+ years of experience relevant work experience in startup environment
• Self-motivated in achieving goals

• Expert skills in Microsoft Excel and diligent, precise, accurate financial modeling
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and meet deadlines
• Strong ability to synthesize data and information from a variety of sources and translate into effective actionable plans and presentations
• Knowledge of GAAP and other regulatory requirements
• Knowledge in Quickbooks, Hubspot a plus
• Strong working knowledge of SaaS metrics and business fundamentals
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
