Job Description
Responsibilities Will Include


KBW has teamed up with a growing biotech/life sciences company in Boston, in search of a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing organization and help develop / build upon the R&D financial planning & analysis function. The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis will focus on and drive the FP&A process and be a business partner to the R&D team.


  • Develop annual budgets, forecasts and reporting
  • Special projects as needed
  • Business development and planning
  • Present to the Board of Directors
  • Various strategic scenario plans, long range plans
  • Support updates to financial models
  • Internal reporting packages, calendar, deliverables
  • Complex financial analysis


The Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following Experience


  • Experience in life sciences or biotech environments
  • Heavy experience in R&D support (Discovery, Research and Clinical)
  • Ability to lead projects and influence the business
  • Self-started with strong analytical skills
  • 7+ years of progressive finance experience
  • Excellent communications skills


Compensation: up to $210K plus bonus +
