Fp&A Analyst - Revenue

The Squarespace Finance team is looking for a Financial Analyst to partner with our revenue driving teams. You will explore a range of business questions, drive company strategy, empower executive decision-making, and guide SQSP towards achieving its goals. We help set the company-wide targets, provide forecasts and real-time analytics to executives and business leaders, and partner with leaders to evaluate product decisions. You will not only have superb technical skills but also be comfortable presenting to all levels across the business.

You will report to the FP&A Manager and be based in our NYC office.

You'll Get To…

• Develop impactful, compelling presentation materials (decks, notes, write-ups, backup materials) that communicate outlooks, drivers, performance, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership
• Partner with the Product organization to develop business cases to support new product and feature launches
• Be a subject matter expert to improve and simplify processes, create standardization, and build scalable systems to support business growth
• Support the strategic planning process for multiple planning/forecasting cycles
• Manage financial reporting and close process, including variance analysis
• Gather, review, and communicate fact-based insights into variances and trends of financial and operational metrics for management, external, and board reporting to support organizational plans
• Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency of existing processes and propose improvements to improve the use of important metrics

Who We're Looking For

• Mastery of Excel (can perform complex functions)
• 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis
• Detail-oriented and organized, with a desire to dig into complex problems
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent experience
• Experience with P&L components and unit economics

Cash Compensation Range: $85,500 - $138,000 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors.

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), all Squarespace employees are eligible to receive equity in the company as part of their total compensation.
