Summary

The Revenue Analyst will support the revenue & reservation team in pricing, distribution, revenue optimization, and market analyses necessary to achieve the hotel’s top-line revenue objectives. They assist in creating accurate revenue forecasts that helps to set hotel goals to outgrow the competition and assist with maintaining Hyatt’s revenue management systems.


They are responsible to produce reporting that support and evaluate hotel business strategies to maximize overall hotel revenue at Hyatt Regency Chesapeake and Gild Hall. This position reports to the Director of Revenue Management.


Job Tasks Include :


  • Manage Special Events and the daily steps for Prio
  • Assist Revenue Coordinator with group updates, forecasting and systems management. Work closely in regards to monitoring cut-off dates, receipt of rooming lists, and requests for block adjustments. Update rates in RMT and Reserve including test selling
  • Ensure rate roll-in values are set for Prio, Monitor detailed booking limits and product recommendations. Review the 13 th month and report on potential high compression periods.
  • Assist with daily, weekly and monthly reporting for Strategy and Owners Meetings
  • Assist to complete the forecast and budget
  • Monitor internet placement and competitive tactics of the market and report on trends and recommendations

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Excellent problem solving, presentation, administrative and interpersonal skills required
  • Experience in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products with emphasis in Excel
  • Knowledge of Hyatt systems (PRIO, OPERA, Reserve) a plus
  • 2 years of hotel operations preferred
