We are looking for a Manager who will work as part of TIDAL’s Finance & Strategy team supporting the Artist Platform. You will have direct exposure to TIDAL and Block leadership and be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and proposing new strategic initiatives aimed at increasing artists’ economic empowerment via innovative monetization channels and tooling. Finance & Strategy team members have an intimate understanding of the business and industry, use analytical methods to evaluate business trends, answer questions with data-driven insights, and communicate relevant recommendations to business leads. This position can sit in any of Block's office locations and is eligible for full-time work from home/remote.
You Will:
- Propose new strategic initiatives and support existing efforts aimed at i) increasing artist revenue through fan base expansion, live events, merchandise, sync, and more and iii) economically empowering artists through financial products and services
- Support annual and long-range planning processes for the TIDAL F&S team
- Analyze and recommend monetization strategies for early product concepts across the Artist Platform
- Build financial models to understand market sizing, financial impact, and trade-offs of various initiatives
- Build trust among senior leadership and own relationships with business leads
- Study developments in the creator economy externally to inform strategic options
- Communicate important takeaways and recommendations to TIDAL and Block leadership via clear and concise presentations and memos
You have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or other relevant field
- Commitment to Block’s purpose of Economic Empowerment
- 1-2+ years of directly managing and owning stakeholder relationships
- Excellent written communication skills and first-class financial modeling experience
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience (e.g. strategic finance, tech, consulting, investment banking, private equity)
- Ability to work in unstructured environments and solve ambiguous problems
Even better:
- Familiarity and passion for the broader creator economy
- Experience in music, entertainment, media and/or financial services

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
Zone A: USD $152,100 - USD $185,900
Zone B: USD $141,500 - USD $172,900
Zone C: USD $133,800 - USD $163,600
Zone D: USD $121,700 - USD $148,700
