This role will support our North America Marketplace Sales & Account Management functions, which guide our largest sellers’ journeys onto Afterpay.

You will:

• Develop and maintain various reports and models used for reporting, analysis, forecasts and budgets
• Perform in-depth financial analysis on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis for the NA Marketplace business, identifying and assessing underlying trends and highlighting opportunities and risks
• Work collaboratively with the broader finance & strategy team and other functions as required to deliver continuous improvement in processes and ways of working
• Support high visibility projects requiring cross functional support and analytical support
• Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decisions and investment priorities
• Assist with the annual budget setting, quarterly forecast and associated reporting and commentary

Qualifications

• Able to drive cross functional projects with appropriate guidance
• Bachelor's Degree in finance, economics or related business field
• Excellent proficiency in financial modeling and Excel (there will be a case study)
• Ability to effectively work with peers and different levels of management
• Strong communication skills, detail oriented, can work in flexible environments
• 5+ years experience in investment banking, strategic finance or management consulting

• Experience with SQL and Snowflake
• Experience with software, internet, or financial technology industry

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Zone A: USD $152,100 - USD $185,900

Zone B: USD $141,500 - USD $172,900

Zone C: USD $133,800 - USD $163,600

Zone D: USD $121,700 - USD $148,700
