Executive Director - Small Molecule Cdmo

Mantell Associates is currently partnered with a well-established global CDMO organisation. They are currently looking to strengthen their Commercial team through the appointment of an Executive Director to support their small molecule division.
You will cover both drug substance APIs and drug product, tablets and capsules portfolios.

Executive Director - Responsibilities:

• Identify and explore new business areas to expand the company
• Oversee all Sales, Business Development, and Marketing activities for the organisation
• Ensure exceptional client experience across all touchpoints by effectively leading the Commercial team
• Attend important conferences to increase the company's visibility
• Negotiate contracts and agreements, and prepare client proposals and bids
• Foster long-term relationships with clients, using existing networks and sales tools to increase the client base
• Build and train Sales team members and allocate necessary resources
• Work closely with the Marketing team to create effective marketing strategies that attract and retain clients, raise awareness of company capabilities and services, and generate revenue

Executive Director - Requirements:

• Demonstrate a proven track record of developing strategic partnerships
• Have experience in leading and managing commercial teams
• Possess highly organised and detail-oriented traits, capable of managing multiple projects and client engagements simultaneously
• Comfortable with utilising technology as an integral part of the sales process
• Possess professional experience working in commercial functions such as Sales, Business Development, and Key Account Management
• Exhibit independent critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
• Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Exhibit strong networking skills and ability to establish connections with people from diverse backgrounds
