NEXT is an interconnected, digitally enabled business transformation initiative, enabled by our shift to an SAP S/4 VIBE digital core, that will create the strategic enterprise capabilities required to operate through the next decade of growth. This transformation will include:
- Building digitally connected, cross functional end-to-end processes and experiences leveraging simplified and connected technology and data architecture.
- Integrating other best-in-breed technologies for new and differentiated capabilities as required.
- Reimagining our operating model for a $25Bn company of the future to improve speed, resiliency, and agility, including rethinking how we work, connect, and add value – faster, easier, anytime, anywhere.
- Implementing SAP S4 to replace our legacy on-premises ERP and other related systems to enable value driving capabilities.
Role Objectives:
- Lead program management – including scope, schedule, and budget – for each phase of the NEXT program, including Visioning, Scoping, Design and Execution.
- Connect work across pillars; troubleshoot issues; hold pillars to agreed-upon objectives.
- Drive visibility into program status, including accomplishments and challenges.
- Ensure program consistency and excellence in execution across all phases of NEXT.
- Help ensure program is delivered on-time and on-budget.
Key Accountabilities:
- Identify, help resolve and/or escalate critical issues, risks, and dependencies within and across pillars; partner with Overall Program and Pillar Business leaders to ensure mitigation and/or resolution plans are in place.
- Coordinate activities and ensure meetings with business / key stakeholders, including ongoing governance, are scheduled with appropriate attendees; prepare agenda and materials; ensure logistics are secured.
- Manage status of overall program progress and financial as well as more detailed critical deliverables, issues, risks and project timelines against milestones and stage gates.
- Partner with NEXT leadership to review requests to changes in scope and, where authorized, help determine resource requirements.
- Ensure program follows appropriate methodology and audit quality levels of program deliverables.
- Connect dots and create opportunities to remove obstacles/breakdown silos and enable success of the NEXT program.
- Drive efficient and effective methods to enable enterprise-level decisions.
- Define program reporting needs and process, along with key performance indicators and metrics. Partner with Overall Program and Pillar Business leaders to collect and troubleshoot relevant data and information.
Time Requirement:
- 100% for all subsequent phases.
- 80+% during initial North Star visioning phase.
Qualifications
Candidate Profile:
- Able to manage uncertainty/ambiguity with a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset leveraging strong project management/PMO expertise.
- Obsessed with outcomes/deliverables while taking people on the journey.
- 15+ years of experience managing PMO for large-scale, technology enabled global programs, [including budgeting, actual spend tracking and forecasting]. Understanding of ELC business – including challenges and opportunities, organization, and culture a plus.
- Has a business first mindset, but also cultural technology affinity. Needs to be able to speak the language of both business and IT.
- Ability to “go high and low” – i.e., engage and operate strategically with senior leaders and dive deep into the weeds within and across pillars - connecting dots, identifying, and removing obstacles and ensuring sustainable change to deliver program objectives.
- Able to deliver collaborative solutions across the ELC matrix, both within and outside the US.
- Experience with Agile Methodology
- Broad based understanding of business core processes and their interdependencies with other business and functional processes.
- Proven success as a leader of multi-capability teams and a true team player, enabling both program and team member success.
- Track record of having delivered complex, enterprise-wide projects on time and on budget.
- Influence without authority to achieve goals and enable relationships that deliver results.
- Has broad based understanding of / experience using ERP systems, ideally SAP.
- High EQ; a trusted leader who understands and knows how to navigate ELC’s relationship-centric culture.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $147,000 to $252,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on
geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance
and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
