Job Description

Job Title: PMO Manager

Location: Topeka, Kansas (Remote)


Job Duties :

  • The PMO Manager is responsible for the oversight and coordination of project managers and the Project Management Office (PMO).
  • The PMO Manager also evaluates and recommends improvements for project management processes, staying current with advancements in the field.
  • The PMO Manager collaborates with department heads, managers, and stakeholders to resolve challenges, develop policies, and align project goals with organizational objectives.
  • This role involves guiding and directing daily operations, assigning and reviewing work, and ensuring adherence to project deadlines.
  • Their strategic planning expertise helps drive resource management, risk assessment, and policy development within the PMO, fostering an environment of effective project execution and stakeholder collaboration.

Skills Required :

  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Effective communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies
  • Strategic planning and resource allocation expertise

Experience required :

  • 7-10 years in project management with a minimum of 2 years direct supervisory experience.

Education required :

  • Bachelor’s degree or 7 years of IT experience
