Position Overview
Atrium is seeking a passionate Executive Director of National Sales to enhance and expand upon new business development for our suite of Contingent Workforce Services (CWS). The Executive Director of National Sales will work closely with Atrium CWS Leadership and cross-organizational stakeholders to develop growth strategies and client relationships. The Executive Director of National Sales will have the ability to confidently converse with clients and the Atrium Sales team alike and have the ability to write as a knowledgeable industry professional to provide thought leadership and written contributions in meaningful ways to prepare Request For Proposal (RFP) submissions in partnership with the existing Marketing Proposal Manager.
Responsibilities Of The Executive Director Of National Sales
  • Negotiate contract terms
  • Oversight and management of the sales funnel
  • Establish and consistently track Sales activity in the Atrium CWS system
  • Partner with Leadership and the Sales teams to develop marketing and sales strategies, identify key existing accounts, and solicit new business
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with new clients by providing regular check-ins and continually look to expand services in partnership with the dedicated Account team
  • Drive CWS Sales initiatives and meet quarterly business goals
  • Develop a national sales plan in partnership with Atrium CWS Executive Leadership
  • Working cross collaboratively with marketing and other departments as Atrium CWS Executive Director of National Sales responsible for consultative national new business strategies and opportunity pipeline
Qualifications For The Executive Director Of National Sales
  • Communication: outstanding oral and written skills, the ability to confidently converse with both clients and the Atrium Sales Team alike by phone and email, and the ability to write as a knowledgeable industry professional and provide thought leadership and written contributions in meaningful ways to prepare Request For Proposal (RFP) submissions in partnership with the existing Marketing Proposal Manager
  • Proven track record of selling services to successfully deliver and support complex enterprise and high-volume accounts
  • Problem-solver: adept at spotting potential delays or roadblocks and quickly suggesting solutions to drive new revenue as quickly as possible
  • Goal-oriented: results-driven approach to sales planning activities and decision-making; Ability to work well and excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Diligence: thorough with astonishing attention to detail to drive the sales process to contract and revenue
  • Teacher: love for sharing industry insights and sales experience and patient and thoughtful when educating
  • Leadership: record of sales accomplishment and experience in developing high-performance sales cycles, with a demonstrated ability to close and deliver outstanding results
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and other relevant industry systems (ATS, VMS, HRIS, CRM, FMS, etc.)
  • Minimum of 5 years of dynamic, responsible work experience in new business development within the Contingent Workforce industry. Proven experience in representing Staffing and Managed Services
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to travel to client offices, as needed, for presentation purposes and as agreed with Leadership
  • Ability to travel to Atrium offices for training and team collaboration, as needed
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to travel for industry events, as agreed with Leadership
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree is required
