Parttime Event Sales Professional

We are looking for a seasoned event sales professional to help us secure event sponsorships and facilitate ticket sales for our upcoming international conference. This is a parttime job opportunity. Hourly rate is $15/hour plus commission. Commission rate is negotiable.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring industry competition by researching competitors’ products, pricing, and product success.
• Attending industry events to network and build relationships with potential customers.
• Filling out the necessary paperwork and obtaining customers’ signatures to finalize each sale.
• Promote our upcoming international conference to prospective attendees and sponsors and help secure event sponsorships.
• Providing exceptional after-sales service to customers by contacting them to inquire into whether they are satisfied with company products.
• Generating leads and scheduling face-to-face meetings with potential and existing customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Excellent negotiation and consultative sales skills.
• Certified sales professional (CSP) certification is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills..
• Experience working with non profit organization is desirable
• Proven sales experience.
• The ability to work independently.
• Grant writing experience is a plus.
