POSITION SUMMARY
The Ecommerce Operations Manager, reporting to the Head of Ecommerce, will be responsible for the management of all Ecommerce tactical duties relating to the Rare Beauty D2C business. This role will have a direct effect on the growth of the Ecommerce business, as well as having a major impact on its overall digital footprint.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work in partnership with supply chain teams to determine product demand and forecast for D2C business including new product launches and ongoing assortment
- Own inventory management processes for D2C business, with a focus on inventory replenishment, inventory deliveries and on-hand SKU assortment
- Manage day-to-day relationship with fulfillment 3PL to ensure that all SLAs are met
- Additional responsibilities as required
- Work closely with Ecommerce lead in maintaining the daily Ecommerce sales forecast, ensuring that all operational needs are met to achieve sales targets
- Monitor consumer issues and pain points and continuously adjust policies and processes to ensure best experience for consumers
- Manage partnership with third-party customer service team to ensure that SLAs are met
- Work closely with third parties and internal stakeholders on international D2C growth
- Optimize for a best-in-class consumer engagement experience with Rare Beauty Support team
- Work closely with digital stakeholders in managing launch and promotional cadence for D2C business
- Serve as main liaison between internal brand education team and customer service team in order to optimize on brand experience with consumer-facing representatives
REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge and experience working with sales forecast and inventory demand – demand planning background is a plus
- Independent, detail-oriented, and organized individual who thrives working in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of website platforms – Shopify is a plus
- 4+ years of experience in the Ecommerce or supply chain space
- Deep understanding of the Ecommerce industry including seasonality and trends
