Position Profile 

Reporting to the Chief Financial and Business Officer and working closely with other senior leaders, the primary role will be to lead the advancement of the Program Management Office (PMO) and manage key projects across the organization which are strategic and business priorities. Projects are often multi-dimensional and cross-functional with an organization-wide impact. The role will work across all functions of the business, partnering closely, supporting and ensuring coordination and delivery of its critical project initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities[1]

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following: 

The Director will: 

  • Establishes project management approaches, leveraging best practices;
  • Typical initiatives may include business process assessment, change management, business process redesign, project management, technology implementations, and new service development.
  • Take on additional special projects related to operational transformation.
  • Work with the CFBO and other senior leaders to design, structure, plan and implement changes to the future operating model.
  • Manage the PMO and regular reporting to the Corporate Committee Leadership as well as lead on the top project initiatives.
  • Work with the CFBO and other organizational leaders to integrate their input into, and drive alignment on strategy ensuring projects are clearly mapped to the organizational goals and prioritized.
  • Conduct and/or oversee key analyses, map processes and lead workstreams that will support the delivery of operational improvement projects across different functions.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand business strategies and prioritize business capabilities;
  • Prepares proposals and recommendations encompassing appropriate analysis for review and decision-making;

Qualifications 

Required

  • At least 10 years of professional working experience in project management, or corporate Strategy/Transformation functions with a strong interest in philanthropic sector required.   Strong oral and written communications skills are essential, including the ability to present to senior groups and craft well-written prose and PowerPoint materials. 
  • Sophisticated and diverse analytical skills and facility in quantitative and qualitative methods are essential. 
  • Results-oriented, with a track record of executing against agreed goals and deliverables.  
  • Sound judgment and discretion, seeking input and feedback, listening well and sometimes making difficult decisions independently while understanding the need for collaboration and leadership’s endorsement of results.  Open to finding creative, alternative solutions to challenges and disagreements that may arise. 
  • Willing to travel as needed 
  • Strong computer skills with facility using popular document, spreadsheet, presentation, email, filesharing and other communication software.

  • Strong project management skills, including experience managing complex, multi-year projects.  

Preferred

  • MBA degree, Managing Consulting experience or comparable and demonstrated professional or other experiences preferred.

Hiring Salary 

Blue Meridian Partners aims to provide a comprehensive and competitive total compensation package.

The hiring salary for this position is $236,000. In addition to the base salary, each member of Blue Meridian is eligible to receive a performance based variable incentive bonus.
