Summary of Job Duties:
The Director of Recruiting will be responsible for coordinating and implementing all aspects of prospective student-athletes' campus visits, official and unofficial visits. They will oversee and manage the distribution of all recruiting correspondence, monitor all social media accounts for the football program, and manage the recruiting database for all areas of recruiting. They will work with compliance on initial approval for all events and financial reconciliation for all recruiting related expenses, assist with department budget management and expenses. Have supervision of full-time and part-time staff.
Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning
  • 3 years of experience within a collegiate football program at Division I and/or NFL experience with recruiting

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in SEC and/or Power Five conference
  • Some supervisory/team leader experience or assisting with overseeing student workers
  • Experience planning and executing recruiting visits
  • Experience preparing expense reports
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Working knowledge of Intercollegiate Athletics as it relates to recruiting
  • Working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
  • Strong organizational and administrative abilities
  • Knowledge of recruiting software
  • Working knowledge of various social media platforms
