Job Description

Working alongside the Director of Career Development, the Recruiter is responsible for driving recruiting results in Northwestern Mutual's Canton office. The process of sourcing and selecting Financial Advisors is conducted and continuously improved by this individual. This team member will build high quality relationships in the community and in the Canton office to promote the Financial Advisor career opportunity, generate referrals, and develop centers of influence. The Recruiter plays a key role in developing recruiting goals and strategies for the firm and is responsible for accomplishing recruiting activity objectives and results. Creativity, strong attention to detail, and drive to achieve are critical in this position.

Responsibilities:

Sourcing & Selection:

·Build and develop effective referral sources including but not limited to Financial Advisors, staff, personal networks, centers of influence, and social media

·Actively participate in community events and organizations to promote Northwestern Mutual and identify potential Financial Advisors

·Oversee candidate selection process, including calling candidates to schedule interviews, conducting initial interviews, administering selection tools, and guiding candidates through next steps

·Develop relationships with other Northwestern Mutual recruiters to share leads and best practices

Tracking and Analysis:

·Report recruiting activity to leadership team in weekly team meetings

·Develop proficiency and use of CRM software (Bullhorn) to maintain candidate database and accurate records of prospects

·Assist in the coordination of leadership team meetings and the preparation of activity and results reports

·Analyze recruiting ratios to improve efficiencies in the selection process

Qualifications

·Bachelor’s degree required

·Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a recruiting, sales, or client-facing role

·Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships and rapport

·High attention to detail

·Strong personal network and/or community involvement
