Job Description

Seeking the Partnerships Director for the AI Forge (Miami) artificial intelligence incubator

Our mission is to provide support and resources to early-stage AI start-ups, helping them bring their innovative ideas to life.


As Partnerships Director, you will play a critical role in AI Forge's success by being the glue that spans across different departments within the Forge and being the central person to create multiple partnerships with various companies interested in AI / Machine learning and Deep Tech.

Experience with any of the following would be beneficial:

- Having been involved in any capacity with start-ups and AI

- Worked in an incubator or accelerator

- Experience of working with large corporates and the ability to get the innovation team excited about new start-up ventures and willing to support with R&D budgets

- Having extracted sponsorship or funding from major corporates

- Being plugged into the North American AI ecosystem and knowing suppliers or companies in that sector

Key role and responsibilities:

1. Identify large corporates and work with universities and entrepreneur meet ups to create AI hackathons to increase deal flow applications


2. Work with our start-ups to identify the key B2B benefits of their solution and help them craft their one-pagers to help you sell their proposition into corporates


3. Get buy-in from corporates across multiple industry verticals to help validate the solutions from each Cohort and provide valuable feedback to help iterate their solution


4. Encourage corporates to trial the AI solution through a ‘pilot’


5. Secure corporates to attend the investor weeks & encourage them to invest in the start-ups


6. Generate sponsorship: The Forge will host many different events that could be sponsored


7. Target individuals within corporates/suppliers / AI experts to be Judges during each cohort application process


8. Identify and negotiate great deals with suppliers for perks, benefits, and service credits that can be given to each cohort.


9. Create a sales training/decision making course for our Alumni, six months after they graduate


10. Work with the Program Director / Associates to generate fresh video content every week and then ensure the videographers produce weekly social media posts


11. Work with our Deal Flow Director to craft the monthly email newsletter


12. Extract from the team at least two blog posts per month of 500 words


13. Responsible for outreach to journalists to generate potential news stories


14. Establish an excellent working relationship with the main AI research institutions in North America, to tap into their valuable resource of providing lectures, Cohort feedback, pivoting, masterclasses or be part of the judging process


15. In conjunction with a corporate, create an annual ideation ‘Summer School’ to fast-track learning for budding AI entrepreneurs to increase deal flow


16. To create a monthly status report of costs, revenues, and progress with partnerships


Remuneration Package:
