Job Description
The Director of Educational Partnerships (DEP) will be the primary lead and will oversee account management and implementation across multiple school districts. Responsibilities include renewal, retention, and growth of business by building strong and effective implementations and professional relationships with district leadership and key stakeholders that lead to fidelity of platform use and customer satisfaction. The DEP will oversee a team of Professional Services Managers and Coordinators who will support the implementation process through provision of professional development and end-user engagement.


Reports to: Senior Vice President of Education Division


Duties And Responsibilities


Professional Development


  • Ability to customize presentation and messaging to the specific needs of the customer.
  • Create and deliver engaging and effective professional development sessions (may be delivered virtually or in-person, as well as individual, small and large group training).
  • Collaborate with other professional services team members in developing and strengthening professional development content.
  • Maintains strong product knowledge and platform fluency.
  • Demonstrates strong questioning strategies & listening skills to determine customer needs and problem solve.


Knowledge and Expertise


  • Maintains knowledge of state and district specific standards, trends and current events that may influence the customer experience or implementation success.
  • Shares new best practices and effective implementation examples with the team.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities scheduled for professional services team.
  • Maintain expert content knowledge of best practices in implementation and change management, behavior analysis, social emotional learning, mental health, and special education.


Customer Management and Engagement
  • Support capacity building efforts through regular interactions with implementation team members or cohorts.
  • Build and facilitate new customer relationships within partner districts to support growth and retention.
  • Exceptional awareness and service to address customer needs, overcome and address customer issues.
  • Schedule, coordinate and conduct quarterly leadership progress review meetings for DEP and district leadership.
  • Provide support for RFP process for assigned customers.
  • Negotiate and develop price quotes and manage all renewal contracts.
  • Complete renewal process, including ensuring receipt of signed contracts, price quotes and purchase orders.
  • Responding to customer needs in a timely fashion and promote a high-touch experience for customers at all levels within the district.
  • Ensure all opportunities are current and accurate in salesforce at all times.
  • Capture customer feedback that will support development of strategies for growth and/or improvement.
  • Strategically monitor customer utilization trends in all areas for timely analysis of trends and data-based decision making for updates as needed.
  • Establish and maintain ongoing and regular communication with district and/or site-based leadership, implementation, and instructional teams.
  • Create and maintain implementation plans for assigned customers.
  • Lead and oversee the implementation process for assigned customers.
  • Schedule, coordinate and conduct initial leadership meetings.
  • Enter all customer interactions, cases, bugs, and feature requests into Salesforce in a timely manner.
  • Ensure implementation plans are uploaded into salesforce.
  • Upsell and expand customer supports.
  • Adapt implementation supports to address unique customer needs.
  • Ensure account renewal and growth.
  • Strategically plan and deliver effective customer communications.


Professional Behavior, Communication & Time Management


  • Produce high quality work with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills with customers and internal team including active listening, verbal, and written communications.
  • Ensure outlook calendar is always up to date and share calendar with your supervisor and team.
  • Complete, submit and provide approvals for reports, data, expenses by due dates as assigned by company process and/or supervisor.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for actions, projects, and assignments.
  • Demonstrate excellent organization, prioritization, and planning skills.


Company Support


  • Provide assistance to other regions and/or departments as required.
  • Volunteer to participate and develop tools and resources to benefit Rethink and Rethink Ed
  • Represent Rethink Ed at conferences or other assigned events, provide support to sales team as directed by supervisor.
  • Active participation as part of the EDU division leadership team
  • Attend and engage in all company and team meetings.


Supervisory


  • Provide oversight, supervision, and support to reporting PSC’s and PSM’s to ensure high quality outputs.
  • Establish and maintain a culture of positive reinforcement with employee/team which will support repetition of desired performance behaviors.
  • Provide opportunities for team collaboration across the EDU division.
  • Coordinate and/or lead ongoing professional learning and develop opportunities for team members.
  • Approve all time off requests and expense submissions for assigned team.
  • Identify and address employee/team needs and challenges in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular supervision with direct reports to evaluate individual progress and to provide timely constructive feedback and supports.
  • Coordinate and lead regular team meetings.


Required


DEP Job Qualifications:


  • 6 or more years of experience working as an educator in a classroom utilizing Social Emotional Learning and/or behavior analytic principles.
  • Management/supervisory experience
  • Project Management/Implementation experience
  • Master’s Degree in Education, Psychology, Counselling, or related field
  • Staff training and presentation experience.


Preferred


  • Active Teaching Certificate or Professional Certification/Licensure (BCBA, MSW, LCSW, School Psychologist)
