Job Description

We need a analytical REMOTE Director of Financial Planning to join our growing our Fee-Only Virtual RIA.

This is a HYBRID role, where you will function as follows:

  • As a Senior Financial Planner (60-70% of the role), AND
  • As our Director Financial Planning (30-40% of the role)


Qualifications

  • CFP®
  • Very clear thinker and communicator (verbal & written)
  • Well organized and respectful of client service standards (deadlines)
  • Solid track record of both creating the intial plans for lots of HNW clients, AND running lots of HNW client relationships
  • Consistently demonstrated our core values (client service, curiosity, transparency, tenacity & rigor)
  • Very comfortable saying “I don’t know” and “I need help”
  • 10+ years of analytically rigorous financial planning (as Planner & Director of Planning, combined)
  • Thrive in a start-up culture
  • Interested in Retirement Income Planning for 55-70 with $2-8M
  • Solid track record of being the Director Financial Planning at your RIA (whether in name or in function)


Compensation

  • 401-K Match (4%), Health & Dental & Vision

  • Base Salary $125-140K (commensurate with skills & experience)
  • Bonus (up to $80K based on the size of your book and your effectiveness leading financial planning for us)
  • Full-time W2


Ramping Smoothing in Your First 90 Days

  • Spend time with our Founder Brad Clark to learn our IP, Values & Philosophies
  • Take over management of Financial Planning (including several direct reports)
  • Get access to everything and meet everyone
  • Attend training sessions
  • Onboard clients with Brad Clark to learn our approach to planning
