Job Description
This position supports the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function at Rite Aid with responsibilities that include but are not limited to the reporting, analysis and insight generation against key drivers of financial, operational and business performance. The role requires analytical thinking and financial acumen and will be responsible for creating deliverables that support the financial planning process and analysis of key growth drivers through a disciplined process. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aid’s brand and strategy and adhere to our core values and service attributes.


  • Assist in the development of executive and board level presentations
  • Provides perspectives and executive financial summaries for strategic decisions, including P&L analysis, consolidated reporting, variance analysis and other ad-hoc projects
  • 10 years of experience in Results-driven finance or relevant experience in corporate finance, strategy management consulting or investment banking preferred.
  • Master’s degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) Business, Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in Finance required.
  • Support economic analysis and business case development for key strategic projects, support executive communications, and enable creating dashboards and automating Key Performance Indicators
  • Partner with the Finance leadership team and key stakeholders across the company to provide insights on operational and financial performance, surface critical business trends, and actionable/ fact-based expertise to drive business growth and key opportunities
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Accounting or Finance required.
  • Support preparation and finalization of weekly, monthly quarterly and annual financial reporting materials


The typical starting pay range for this position is between $136,400 - $176,100 annually, although wages can very based on experience and geography.
